Austin Franco

Austin obtained his law degree from Texas A&M School of Law with a concentration in Business Law. While in law school, Austin interned with the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) examining business practices and corporate filings of hedge funds and private equity funds. Austin also worked in the Texas A&M Entrepreneurship Clinic where he helped business owners in Dallas and Fort Worth with various needs from formation to complex contract drafting and review.

Austin also clerked for the 431st District Court in Denton County, Texas. During his time at the Court, Austin was tasked with research and writing projects aimed at assisting the Honorable Judge Jim Johnson in deciding difficult legal questions. Austin’s experiences with Judge Johnson in chambers afforded him a rare perspective on how judges look at cases. Austin uses this valuable insight when representing his clients.

Austin’s practice focuses on business collections, construction law, business litigation, business formation and drafting, post-judgment collections, and estate planning. Austin has worked on a wide range of cases ranging from thousand-dollar disputes to multi-million-dollar deals gone wrong.

Before law school, Austin attended Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas. Also prior to law school, Austin ran a consulting business where he built, scaled, and sold multiple e-commerce brands. This experience gives Austin a unique business perspective and allows him to understand his clients’ businesses, goals, and needs.

Outside of the office, Austin enjoys playing competitive chess, watching football, playing golf, and spending time with his wife and golden retriever.
